“Personally, this project has given me a lot of independence and individual learning. It has also helped me to mature by having to organise my tasks and those of my colleagues. I would recommend this project to anyone who enjoys writing articles or short stories, as it is a different way to expand your capacity for imagination.”

“It is incomparable with other experiences and tasks we can carry out in the classroom. The students must express themselves, synthesise their ideas to prepare the interview, and formulate questions, acting as journalists. Then they have to listen and also succinctly gather everything the Mayor has commented on. This is an exercise that requires great effort and skill.”

I’ve improved my writing style and learned to distinguish between what is information and what isn’t. Additionally, I’ve had the chance to meet people from the theatre world and beyond, which I might not have otherwise. “Stepping into the shoes of a journalist has been great, but it’s also been challenging because sometimes it’s hard to find topics to discuss. However, we always managed to find something to do, and we could even publish it on the web, which felt significant. I felt important, like the journalists at La Vanguardia. I also really enjoyed choosing the questions during interviews and then recording the answers. It was a lot of fun.”

It motivated me to seek information from various websites, and I noticed that they all explain the same facts, but each in a way that suits their own ideology.”
